Artist Statement
In 2010, a
transgender group marched in the annual Mardi Gras Parade in Sydney, Australia under the
theme "The Transexual Empire Strikes Back".This book is about that
group march in the parade and the issue they marched for gender identity law
reform. It is also about the march and the celebrations that is Mardi Gras.
